The Recruitment Process
At moneysupermarket.com we take great care in how we attract and hire the very best talent. Our people are one of our core assets and we want to attract candidates who are as passionate about moneysupermarket.com as we are!
Job search
Once you’ve had a good look through our career’s site and decided that a career with moneysupermarket.com is right for you, the process begins by searching through current vacancies for a role that interests you and matches your skills and experience. All vacancies are advertised on the site so you can see just what types of roles we have on offer. If there’s nothing advertised that suits you, you can register your CV with us and join our Talent Pool for future opportunities.
Applying at moneysupermarket.com
All applications are made online by uploading your CV and acknowledged by email. If your application doesn’t match the role profile, you will be contacted by the recruitment team to let you know that you are unsuccessful at this stage.
Phone Interview
If your skills do fit the role profile, the recruitment team will carry out a telephone pre-screen with you. The pre-screen takes between 20-40 minutes (depending on the role) and assesses your suitability for the role. In addition, you will be asked about your credit and criminal history, your referees, employment history for the previous five years, and your eligibility to work in the UK.
Onsite interview
You’ve passed the first hurdle so now to meet us. Our on-site interviews take place at moneysupermarket.com offices with your prospective line manager and potential colleague. Our interviews are designed to test your knowledge and skills for the role that you are being interviewed for, and to find out about your enthusiasm for our business and the industry we work in. If the role you are applying for requires a specific assessment, you will be given details of this from the recruitment team prior to the interview. Remember, it’s a two way process so you’ll be encouraged to ask questions about us in return.
Offers
Once all interviews for a role are complete, you will be contacted to let you know whether or not you have been successful. Whilst we can't promise you an offer next week, we will keep you informed of the timescales we're working to.
What happens next
Congratulations, you’ve got a job offer from us! We trust that you will be as delighted as we are, and will make your decision quickly. On acceptance we will discuss your start date with you and issue you with a written offer. All job offers are made subject to satisfactory references and other recruitment formalities including confirmation you have the right to work in the UK (this is a legal requirement), confirmation you can work for moneysupermarket.com, that there are no restrictive covenants in a previous contract that prevents you from working for the company, and that your qualifications can be verified. Moneysupermarket.com is an FSA regulated business so this is important to us. Also feel free to get in touch with your recruiter at any time.
