We're a social bunch here at moneysupermarket.com and we enjoy plenty of great nights out as well as social events in the office. That's down to the huge effort made by the volunteers on the Social Team, who work tirelessly to ensure we never go too long without some fun.
Each year, our social team organise major events, like our epic Christmas and summer parties. From barbeques at Chester Racecourse, to dinner and dancing, these big events are the highlight of the moneysupermarket.com social calendar.
But the rest of the year is also littered with events, like bowling nights and pub quizzes (the quizzes get incredibly competitive).
We also get the chance to take part in some of the most ludicrous competitions ever seen inside an office, with fierce rivalry for the table football competition, which saw the Marketing team win the table, through to the chilli eating competition which resulted in free days out to Alton Towers. We have watched sporting events together, complete with burger van in the car park, climbed walls in the car park; had gladiator style duels - the list goes on...
These events aren't just about having more fun at work; they also raise much-needed funds for the company's charity of the year.
